The husband and wife team of Niels and Bimmer Udsen established Castoro Cellars with the goal of producing world-class wines from Paso Robles-appellation grapes. Each vintage presents a new challenge and Niels is more than willing to constantly and creatively experiment. This on-going research is only one of the things that ensures they meet their goal.

Niner Wine Estates is the visionary initiative of Richard Niner, who believes that a blend of exceptional people, vineyards, tools, and ideas is the key to creating world-class wines and providing a one-of-a-kind experience in the heart of Paso Robles wine country.

Doce Robles means “twelve oaks” in Spanish and is a small family owned and operated business. The winery has twelve majestic oak trees on the estate which consists of 40 acres. Jim’s viticulture practices consists of organic and food grade quality fertilizer. It all started with an extra six tons of grapes that a winery could not accept and process. Tobin (Toby) James, a lowly assistant winemaker at the time, asked the owner of the winery if he could have the grapes and make wine out of them for himself. The owner replied, "sure kid, knock yourself out". A year and a half later, gold medals began pouring in for Toby's first Zinfandel, the 1985 "Blue Moon" Zin.

J. Paul Rosilez Winery began one fall day, at our once sheep ranch, in Lodi, CA. They were crushing Chardonnay grapes that had been given to his wife and him from our veterinarian as a wedding gift.

Midnight Cellars, home to the Hartenberger family and their small production of award-winning Paso Robles wines. Twenty eight acres of hilly, rocky, limestone-rich and south facing slopes are dedicated to growing quality, low-yield, sustainably farmed Bordeaux grapes.

Distinguished wine has a distinguishing philosophy of vineyard stewardship and creative winemaking. CM philosophy derives from the totality of the wine experience -- a holism encompassing wine's social history as well as its unique creativity that encompasses sensual nuance and seasonal earth labor.

At Ranch 32, they seek to showcase the natural character of each wine. There estate grown grapes are harvested at the peak of sugar ripeness, acidity and aroma so that each wine is a true expression of the varietal and vintage.

The Van Der Heyden name and subsequent reputation has become world renowned because they are the only winery in the world that produces a Late Harvest Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Balius label is our nod to the fabled heroes represented by the black figure pottery of ancient Greece, and all of our Balius wines are reflections of the world-renowned appellations throughout California.
